La Fourna serves you flatbread and bread dishes from other countries. But it is much more than a nice place to eat. At the baking oven – or rather at the saj – are standing women with migration background: they share with you their family recipes and the culinary traditions from their country of origin. Through empowerment, participation, co-creation, and the sharing of knowledge and skills, these women build self-confidence and can grow further. They take control of their future, they let you embrace cultural diversity.
