Sisyphus Dreaming.jpg

SISYPHUS DREAMING (HONG KONG) BY JAS PUN

If Sisyphus were conscious in his dreams, is he still dreaming? A young man one day dreamt that he is ‘pressed by a ghost’. He then experienced various strange things: a new colleague with a weird pose; a guy with sunglasses at the toilet; a printer that spits letters; and even meeting the bald man who appears in his dream. The young man gets on a red minibus after work, he then finally realizes the meaning of all these strange incidents. Running time: 00:15:35.

Poise.jpg

POISE (PORTUGAL) BY LUÍS SOARES

A sad and restrained man lying on the bed in his empty room. Hesitates, ponder hypotheses in a cycle without deciding, stuck. In exhaustion all anguish equals. Another man is sitting at the window: he looks at him and to the street. Characters in broken situations. The key positions, the suspended sequences, are shown. The man almost decides – and they almost return, inside and out, to them and to the city, time and movement. Infinite dawn. Running time: 00:07:00.
